Multiple vertical cracks have been found in a historic building in Uckfield High Street.

St Wilfrid's Hospice in Eastbourne blames inflation and increased national insurance contributions.

The proposal is for 1,700 new homes alongside a community hub, primary school and sports facilities.

The incident happened in New Town, Uckfield, at 17:00 GMT on Friday.

Wealden District Council has committed £200,000 per year over a three-year period to the programme.

The two-car collision happened in Herons Ghyll, near Uckfield, on Wednesday afternoon, said police.
