A 44-year-old man appears in court charged with attempting to murder a woman who was shot in her home.

A woman in her 60s is in hospital after being struck in the head and back by shotgun pellets.

The council is the first in Northern Ireland to operate the system at all sites, on a permanent basis.

Several ambulance crews attended the scene on Drumreagh Road and two people were taken to hospital.
