A postmaster portrayed in ITV's Post Office drama says many were still waiting to be paid compensation.

The show gets some welcome good news at the National Television Awards after its recent controversies.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony at London's O2 Arena on 11 September.

Ant and Dec also win best presenter for the 22nd year running but there was no prize for This Morning.

Holly Willoughby and ex co-host Phillip Schofield are overlooked for best presenter, however.

The National Television Awards 2022 also celebrated wins for This Morning and Ant and Dec (again).

Stars gathered in London on Thursday for the NTAs, a month later than planned.

The duo could win the best TV presenter prize for the 21st year in a row - but will not be there.
