The nine-week-old northern African lion cubs have been pictured playing outside at Whipsnade zoo.

People can now see Simbi, Kari, Zimmy and Cazzo at Howletts Wild Animal Park near Canterbury.

The cubs will be named after their first vet check at eight weeks old.

The money will help rescue five lions from Ukraine and take them to the Lion Rescue Centre.

The two sisters were rescued from a war zone in Ukraine and are now at Five Sisters Zoo in West Lothian.

Asiatic lions and meerkats at the zoo in central London receive a taste of Halloween with their own pumpkins.

The lionesses are in Belgium until they are due to arrive at a Kent sanctuary in November.
