Some lions rescued from Ukraine had shellshock, says the Big Cat Sanctuary.

The four cubs were born in January and will be named once their sex has been confirmed, keepers say.

The rare Northern African triplets, born at Whipsnade Zoo in November, will be monitored by vets.

The nine-week-old northern African lion cubs have been pictured playing outside at Whipsnade zoo.

People can now see Simbi, Kari, Zimmy and Cazzo at Howletts Wild Animal Park near Canterbury.

The cubs will be named after their first vet check at eight weeks old.

The money will help rescue five lions from Ukraine and take them to the Lion Rescue Centre.
