Independent film makers will be able to use sound stages and hire cameras on the Buckinghamshire lot

Sitcoms and panel shows, including Would I Lie to You, are recorded at the Buckinghamshire site.

The application is seeking to improve the Grade II listed building's safety features.

The development will make the site "the biggest studio complex in the world", Pinewood Group says.

The actor played James Bond seven times and the naming marks what would have been his 92nd birthday.

The home of James Bond is wanting to build more studios and a visitor attraction.

The studios are well known as a production centre for the James Bond films and many more movies.

The attraction will be part of Pinewood's £500m expansion plans for its existing studios site.
