Experts say his tech empire needs more of Musk's attention - but also the continued custom of the government.

The US president is considering selling his Tesla car - which he says he purchased when he was trying to help Musk promote his company.

Tesla shares plunged 14%, marking one of the steepest declines in months as Musk and Trump battled online.

This is the first time India has publicly admitted that it has not been able to lure investment dollars from Musk.

As the former Doge chief, Musk had worked to reduce government spending which he says this bill contradicts.

Asked if he had any regrets about his political activities, Musk said: "I did what needed to be done."

The electric car firm says a report that it is hunting for a successor is "absolutely false".

The tech boss says he intends to spend only one to two days a week on Trump administration matters.
