No date set for reopening of ferry service

A meeting between the operator of the West Lynn ferry and the council is set for Tuesday.

The West Lynn Ferry is a small metal boat with a outboard motors engine. It is tied to a grey buoy on the River Great Ouse. Houses and a church are on the bank behind it.

Ferry to remain closed for safety checks

Users face a diversion of at least three miles (5km) in each direction as a result of the closure.
