Campaigners fighting to save their library urge councillors deciding on its future to see it in use.

Sunderland's library moves to a new location this year, freeing up space at the city's museum.

Organisers of the Suffolk Young Storytellers competition say it will ensure children's voices are heard.

Carlisle Library will be closed from 25 January ahead of its £3.3m transformation, the council says.

Devon County Council says it is moving the library to "more affordable premises".

The mobile library service which operates in West Berkshire has been running for more than 40 years.

The service says its charges for overdue or lost items encourage people to return items.

The chief librarian said the nautical-themed children's library was "appealing to all ages".
