Thousands of music fans made their way over land and sea to the Isle of Wight for the four-day festival.

Musicians help support a petition set up to save the venue which was closed after a fatal crush.

The 10,000-capacity event will take place next August at Cornbury Park, near Charlbury, Oxfordshire.

Britpop band Pulp will also headline at next year's Isle of Wight Festival between 15-18 June.

The electronic duo are among several acts announced for the new 60,000-capacity Bristol event.

The three-day event will see performances from artists including Liam Gallagher, Snow Patrol and Amy Macdonald.

Ticket-holders are required to take a lateral flow test 48 hours before arriving at the event in Glasgow.

Organiser Geoff Ellis said the event had permission to go ahead with 50,000 music fans attending per day.
