Tate Modern

The UK Aids memorial quilt goes on display in full for the first time in 30 years at London's Tate Modern.

The quilt represents about 385 people who have lost their lives to HIV/Aids in the UK.

A painting by the US modern artist Joan Mitchell is "one of the most important" Tate has received.

The boy, who six when he was attacked in 2019, is described as having made "enormous progress".

The three pieces are on loan from the Leicester Museum and Art Gallery collection.

Salma Hayek and Dua Lipa were also at the event which saw the Tate Modern transformed for the show.
