The 20-year-old Dundee man appears in court after disruption in Orkney at the weekend.

Flights at Kirkwall Airport were grounded on Saturday morning after reports of a "threatening communication".

Police said there was no reason to believe the threat to the airport was credible.

A 38-year-old man was airlifted to hospital with critical injuries and a 39-year-old woman was also treated after the incident.

A 22-year-old is arrested after an incident outside a premises on Burnmouth Road in Kirkwall.

The 38-year-old man was airlifted from Kirkwall to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.

The body of the young female animal was discovered in Kirkwall on Tuesday.

Police now say there are no suspicious circumstances about the Orkney death.
