A jury has been shown CCTV footage in the trial of a man accused of punching and murdering a man at a sports club.

Grant Wallendorf, 45, was hit by Oscar Jackson outside the Ickleford Sports & Recreation Club in Hertfordshire, on 16 June.

The club was screening the European Championships match between England and Serbia.

Mr Jackson, 21, of Wilshere Crescent, Hitchin, has denied charges of murder and manslaughter at the crown court in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

Prosecuting barrister Simon Wilshire said the CCTV footage showed the pair both drinking at the club, before Mr Jackson walked out of the car park to urinate at about 22:30 BST.

The footage showed Mr Wallendorf gesticulating in the car park and showed Mr Jackson punching him with his right fist.

Mr Wallendorf could be seen falling backwards.

Jurors were told Mr Wallendorf suffered a brain injury and died later in hospital.

The trial continues.
