Fallen tree causes disruption to railway line
A fallen tree has caused delays and cancellations to trains in Kent.
Commuters on Southeastern trains between Paddock Wood and Strood are facing disruption to services after the tree fell at Halling.
Rail replacement buses will run from Strood and Maidstone West, and between Maidstone West and Paddock Wood between 10:00 GMT and 12:30 GMT on Tuesday as the tree is cleared.
National Rail say it is safe to run trains, but the tree is in a "precarious position".
National Rail added: "To ensure there is no future risk to services, the line between Strood and Paddock Wood will be blocked."
Stations affected by cancellations are Paddock Wood, Beltring, Yalding, Wateringbury, East Farleigh, Maidstone West, Maidstone Barracks, Aylesford, New Hythe, Snodland, Halling, Cuxton, Strood.
