Investigation under way after house fire

An investigation has been launched following a fire at a property.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service was called to Ferozeshah Road in Devizes, Wiltshire, at 18:53 GMT on Saturday.

Crews from Devizes, Calne and Marlborough attended with breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a main jet.

Firefighters advised residents to keep their windows and doors closed as the blaze caused a "significant smoke plume".

A spokesperson confirmed the fire was extinguished at 01:19 GMT on Sunday.
