A woman has been injured after a dog bit her knee while she was walking.

Police have appealed for information after the incident at about 14:30 GMT on Wednesday at Chesterfield Drive, Ipswich.

The dog was described as a beige, medium sized "greyhound-type breed".

Officers said the person walking the dog was described as a clean shaven man, between 60 and 70, wearing a grey or black coat and flat cap.

Suffolk Police asked anyone who "may know this man", or who had any information, to get in touch.
