A fire that destroyed two barns used to store hay and tractors is being treated as arson.

Crews from eight stations were sent to a farm in Coles Lane in Eling, Totton, on Thursday at about 21:00 GMT.

The fire service said more than 500 bales of hay and three tractors were also destroyed and 150 cows housed nearby were moved to safety.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said anyone with information about the fire, which could have started some time between 18:15 and 21:00, should come forward.
