Demolition work scheduled at Rouge Bouillon

Some demolition is due to take place at Rouge Bouillon as work continues to make the area safe after the appearance of a sinkhole, the Government of Jersey has said.
A spokesperson said work to install steel strapping around an unstable building in Clarendon Road, St Helier, was complete.
They said preparations could now be made for the necessary demolition of outbuildings and boundary walls, subject to an engineer's final review.
Rouge Bouillon, between Clarendon Road and Palmyra Road, was closed after the appearance of a sinkhole caused by a burst water main in December 2024 and the road has been closed since.
A government spokesperson said: "The road will only reopen once the buildings are stabilised and all risks of structural collapse have been mitigated.
"We recognise the disruption the closure continues to cause for commuters and local businesses."
The government urged both pedestrians and drivers to follow the designated diversions and avoid "cutting through private land, particularly College Gardens".
It added the situation was "highly complex" with several adjacent walls and buildings severely cracked being subject to "significant movement".
