Appeal after 16-year-old hurt in 'targeted' attack
Police are investigating after a 16-year-old boy was injured in a group attack in a village near Bath and later found on the streets of south Bristol.
The victim was assaulted near the post office in Corston at about 22:30 GMT on Friday, but police were not alerted until 23:00 GMT.
The boy, who is from Bath, was eventually located at 00:30 GMT on Saturday in Broomhill Road, Brislington, when he was taken to hospital with a serious injury.
Investigators are still working to establish the chain of events that led to the boy being in Bristol, a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said.
They believe the teenager was the victim of a targeted attack.
Anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from Corston Lane and Meadlands between 22:00 GMT and 23:00 GMT, or of Broomhill Road between 23:30 GMT on Friday and 01:00 GMT on Saturday is urged to contact police.
