Train services between Huddersfield and Penistone have been suspended due to a landslip.

It said the landslip had happened in the Huddersfield area and Network Rail engineers were on site.

A bus replacement service has been put on to take passengers between Huddersfield and Penistone.

People have been advised they can travel between Sheffield and Huddersfield via Leeds on alternative Northern services.

Tickets can also be used on TransPennine Express services between Leeds and Huddersfield.

National Rail said ticket restrictions had been lifted during this disruption.
