Flooding forces closure of Devon railway line
Train services in Devon were disrupted after flooding caused by heavy rain closed part of a railway.
Great Western Railway (GWR) said flooding had shut the line between Crediton and Okehampton just after 10:00 BST on Wednesday.
It said services between Exeter Central and Okehampton via Exeter St Davids were being cancelled, delayed or revised as a result. GWR said the line reopened at about 12:50.
A Met Office weather warning for rain is in place covering Devon until 21:00 on Wednesday and several flood alerts have been issued in the county by the Environment Agency.
GWR said passengers who were affected by the flooding could use their ticket on the 5A and 6A bus routes run by Stagecoach between Exeter St Davids and Okehampton.
