Bexhill man pleads guilty to £30k fraud

A man who was charged with 19 counts of fraud totalling almost £30,000 by false representation has pleaded guilty to all charges.

Adam Reid, 40, of Dorset Road in Bexhill, had been remanded into custody after the charges, which also included one count of fraudulent trading, Sussex Police said.

Police said the charges came following an investigation which related to fraud against 19 victims in Hastings and Rother between November 2022 and February 2025.

Reid is due to be sentenced at Lewes Crown Court on 17 June.
