Missing grandfather and grandson found safe

An 80-year-old man and his 18-year-old grandson have been found after failing to arrive to visit family in Glasgow.

Volodymr Sobchuk and grandson Yoroslav Prokhyra were located after being last seen by family in Balgrayhill Road, Springburn at 10:40 on Sunday.

The pair were meant to visit family in Bishopbriggs but never arrived.

Police Scotland said both men have now been traced safe and well.
