Police make further arrests after murder of man, 34
Police investigating the murder of a 34-year-old man have made three further arrests.
Ryan Burton died in hospital six days after he was assaulted in Spring Rise Park, Kettering, Northamptonshire, at about 19:00 GMT on Friday, 10 January.
Four men from Kettering, aged 38, 24, 24 and 22, a 20-year-old from Desborough, Northamptonshire, and a 24-year-old from Rothwell, Northamptonshire, were arrested and released on bail on Tuesday while inquiries continued.
Northamptonshire Police said it had now arrested a seventh man, a 29-year-old from Kettering, on suspicion of murder and that he remains in custody.
Officers also announced that two women - a 33-year-old from Kettering and a 23-year-old from Corby, Northamptonshire - have been released on bail pending further inquiries after they were arrested at the weekend on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to come forward if they can help with their investigations.
A force spokesperson said: "No matter how small or insignificant they believe the information is as any little detail may help piece together what happened around the time of the attack."
