A man has died after he was pulled over in his car by police.
West Mercia Police said its officers had asked the man to stop on Willow Street in Oswestry, Shropshire, at about 14:00 BST on Tuesday.
But when he got out of his vehicle he collapsed and became unconscious, the force said.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said he died at the scene, despite the efforts of police officers and its own paramedics to revive him.
West Mercia Police said it had referred the incident to the Independent Office for Police Conduct and to its own professional standards department.
