A police force has paid tribute to a serving police dog which has died after an illness.
Police Dog (PD) Koko was "incredibly sweet" and "quite possibly the cleverest dog of all time," Warwickshire Police said.
Officers said she had been protecting people in Warwickshire for nearly eight years alongside colleague PC Susnik. Koko died after being suddenly taken ill in the last few weeks.
She was remembered for detaining "countless" suspects, finding evidence that would have been missed and for an "impressive ability to track down hedgehogs and the postman," the force added.
