Fail-to-stop driver crashes into house
A driver who failed to stop when police tried to pull him over has been charged after crashing into a house and partially destroying the front of the building.
The crash happened at about 03:45 GMT on Sunday in The Quadrant, in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
Police said they had initially tried to stop the car in East Street in the town, before the incident.
A 43-year-old man has since been charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving without insurance, driving without a licence, possession of cannabis, criminal damage to two vehicles and criminal damage to a dwelling.
Cambridgeshire Police said no-one was injured in the collision and engineers were called to secure the house and assess the damage.
