Pedestrian, 23, dies in A27 crash involving coach

A pedestrian has died in a crash involving a coach on the A27, police have said.
Emergency services were called to the crash on the road in Falmer, East Sussex, at about 10:35 BST on Friday.
A stretch of the road was closed in both directions between the B2123 in Falmer and the A23 in Brighton but has since reopened, National Highways said.
The pedestrian, a 23-year-old man from Brighton, was confirmed dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed, police added.
“Our thoughts are with them at this time,” a Sussex Police spokesman said.
An investigation has been launched and police have urged anyone who witnessed the incident or with relevant information to contact the force.
