Halloween dispersal order for city suburb
A dispersal order has been put in place for part of Nottingham in a bid to prevent anti-social and nuisance behaviour during Halloween.
The order will cover Southchurch Drive in Clifton and surrounding streets along the tram network as well as Clifton Park for 48 hours from 16:00 GMT on Wednesday.
Nottinghamshire Police said it followed reports of fireworks being set off in the direction of members of the public during Halloween in 2023.
The order gives officers enhanced powers to disperse any groups they believe could be set to cause trouble.
The force said anyone returning to the specified area after being moved on could be arrested and anyone under the age of 16 could be returned to their home address.
