A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of arson following a barn fire.
Firefighters were called to a large outbuilding on Middlewich Road in Leighton, near Crewe, at about 17:00 BST on Saturday. The building contained hay and was well alight, according to Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The fire was allowed to burn out although crews, from Crewe, Nantwich and Middlewich, remained at the scene to monitor it.
Cheshire Police said the boy had since been released on bail.
