Emergency crews responded to a report of a single vehicle crash in the Birdingbury area of Rugby on Monday, police said

A woman has been charged with drink-driving after a car left the road and was found on a steep embankment, police said.

Officers responded to a report of single vehicle crash in the Birdingbury area, Rugby, on Monday.

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended the scene and no injuries had been reported.

The driver, who is from Sutton Coldfield, is set to appear in court on 25 July, Warwickshire Police said.
