A major A-road was closed for several hours due to a "police-led incident".

The A11 between the Barton Mills roundabout and the B1085 junction at Red Lodge, near Mildenhall, Suffolk, was shut in both directions.

A diversion was in place and drivers faced delays of up to 30 minutes.

National Highways posted on X at 14:23 GMT and said the road had fully reopened with residual delays.
