Armed police called to reports of fight

Two people have been arrested following a fight involving multiple people in Leicestershire.

Firearms officers were called to Golf Course Lane in Braunstone at 14:34 BST on Thursday.

Leicestershire Police said it was reported that weapons had been seen but there were no serious injuries.

A 31-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm and remain in custody, the force added.
