Dispersal order after trolley thrown from car park

A weekend dispersal order has been issued in a Surrey town after a shopping trolley was thrown from a multi-storey car park, narrowly missing a child, police said.
The order is in place for Walton-on-Thames town centre and St John's estate from 18:00 BST on Friday until 18:00 on Sunday.
It gives officers the power to order a group of two or more people to leave the area if they are committing, or are likely to commit, a criminal offence.
Three boys were arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and causing criminal damage with intent to endanger life after the incident at Sainsbury's car park in New Zealand Avenue on Tuesday.
A 16-year-old and a 13-year-old from Walton-on-Thames, and a 15-year-old from West Molesey, were all released on bail pending further investigations, according to Surrey Police.
The dispersal order also comes after concerns about youth-related anti-social behaviour, the force added.
Insp Lucy Marriott said: "Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated across our county and we will deal with offences robustly.
"Officers will be patrolling the dispersal area over the weekend and we encourage anyone who notices any anti-social or criminal behaviour within the community to contact us straight away."
