Man, 86, dies in single vehicle collision

An 86-year-old driver has died following what police said was a single vehicle collision.

Essex Police and paramedics were called to Main Road in Great Holland, near Clacton-on-Sea, at about 13:00 GMT where a purple Audi TT crashed.

The man died at the scene and his family were being supported by specialist officers.

The road was closed between Manor Road and Pork Lane so investigations could take place.
