A Derbyshire road has been closed after what is believed to be an unexploded shell was fished from the River Trent.
Derbyshire Police confirmed in a social media post shortly after 17:30 GMT on Wednesday that a magnet fisher found the item in a stretch of river near Station Lane, Walton-on-Trent.
The road has been closed from the A38 Barton Turn through to the junction with Main Street.
A cordon has also been put in place as a precaution until an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit from the army arrives, the force said.
