Police appeal for whereabouts of wanted shoplifter

Mr Cross is wanted over several shoplifting offences across Gloucestershire

Police are appealing for information to help locate a wanted man in connection with a number of shoplifting offences.

Gloucestershire Police have been searching throughout the summer for Matthew Cross of Barnwood Road in Gloucester, but have so far been unable to locate him.

The 45-year-old is described as being 5ft 9in tall, of a slim build and has a tattoo on his neck. He often uses a black mountain bike to get around.

Mr Cross is known to frequent Barton Street and Southgate Street in Gloucester, and has also been seen in the Churchdown area.

Anyone with information on Mr Cross's whereabouts is being urged to contact Gloucestershire Police.
