Barbers closed after £150k worth of drugs seized

A town centre barbers has been closed by police after drugs with a street value of £150,000 were seized.
Wiltshire Police said a three-month closure order was granted at A Style Barbers in Manchester Road, Broadgreen, Swindon, due to links with organised criminality.
It comes after a warrant was carried out at the premises and a property in Cherry Orchard, Highworth on 22 January.
The force said the order was part of Brighter Broadgreen, which is a multi-agency project to improve the area.

Large amounts of cash, high-value jewellery and clothing were found, along with a significant quantity of class A and class B drugs, police said.
"We will continue to work with our partners and the residents of Broadgreen to clear criminality from the area and make it a safer and more pleasant place for all," a police spokesperson added.
Two people arrested on suspicion of money laundering and drug supply remain on bail.
