Woman charged with boiling water attack

A 28-year-old woman is due to stand trial accused of throwing boiling water over a man.
Nottinghamshire Police said it was called to a shared home in Nottingham at about 08:30 GMT on Saturday.
The force said a man in his 20s suffered extensive scalding to the right side of his body, which needed hospital treatment in the incident in Lenton Abbey.
The accused appeared at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Monday charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and assault by beating.
She was granted conditional bail - including living at an alternative address.
She will appear at Nottingham Crown Court in April ahead of a trial.
Police added a small amount of boiling water reportedly landed on a second person, but they were not injured.
