A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of David Graham, who was found with fatal injuries on a street in South Lanarkshire.

Mr Graham, 38, from Cambuslang, was walking alone in General’s Gate in Uddingston when he was attacked at about 19:30 on Sunday 6 October.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The 28-year-old was later released, pending further inquiries. Two other men have previously been arrested in connection with the death.

Liam Kippen, 29, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court charged with murder on 10 October. He was remanded in custody.

Another man, aged 41, was also arrested in connection with the death. He was released pending further inquires.

Police Scotland said the investigation into Mr Graham's death was ongoing.
