An alleged sheep rustler has been arrested after more than 63 ewes were stolen.

The sheep were recovered from three locations within the Dyfed-Powys Police area over the past four days after an appeal was shared more than 700 times.

The 40-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of theft has been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.

Inspector Matthew Howells said: "The support from farming communities near and afar has been vitally important in securing a positive outcome."
