Arrest after man seriously injured in hit-and-run

A 31-year-old man has been arrested after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash, police have said.
The 19-year-old victim was walking along a pavement of Holbrook Lane in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, on 7 February when the collision happened.
The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop after a road accident and failing to report a road accident.
His vehicle has been seized, and he has been released under investigation while enquiries continue, Wiltshire Police has said.
