A road has reopened near a level crossing following a crash.

Suffolk Police said it was called to reports of a single-vehicle collision on the B1122 Middleton Road, Yoxford, near the A12, at about 23:40 BST on Thursday.

The road had been shut between the A12 and B1122 junction at Yoxford and the staggered crossroads at Little Moor Road in Middleton Moor.

The driver of the vehicle had left before the police arrived and inquiries were ongoing to find them, the force said.

The road reopened at 07:30 BST and drivers were asked to avoid the area while officers investigated.
