Fresh bid to trace man four weeks after car found
Police have made a fresh appeal for information on a missing man whose car was found at the Mull of Galloway nearly a month ago.
A major search operation - involving the RNLI and HM Coastguard - failed to find any trace of 42-year-old Ernestas Dagys, from Middlesbrough.
His car was found in the Mull of Galloway car park on 27 February.
Mr Dagys is described as white, about 5ft 8in tall, of slim build with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Insp Stephen Judge said: “Four weeks have now passed since Ernestas was believed to have travelled to the Mull of Galloway area on 25 February, and I am appealing for any information which may help us trace him.
“If you have been in the area since 25 February please think back.
"Did you see someone matching his description? Please get in touch with any information you have.
"Ernestas, if you see this appeal, please make contact with police so we can ensure you’re safe and well."
