Man dies after falling from Blackpool pier

A man has died after falling from a pier in Blackpool, police have said.

Emergency services were called to the town's North Pier at 19:15 BST on Friday.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, said Lancashire Police.

The force, which said it was working to identify the man, has asked anyone with information to contact them.
