Free activities for kids during Easter holidays

Free activities are being offered for children and young people in Hull over the Easter holidays.
The Healthy Holidays sessions – set up by Hull City Council (HCC) – are available to school-age children throughout the Easter break.
Activities include swimming, cooking sessions, football and arts and crafts.
The programme of events also includes activities for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
Rachel Roberts, the council's strategic lead for early help and Intervention, said: "Whether children and young people want to get outside, be active, play sports or flex their creative muscles with art, theatre or dance, there's something in the programme to make them happy.
"As always, everything is free, almost all sessions include a nutritional food offer, and everyone can participate provided they are school-age."
She said the programme meant children could enjoy activities throughout the school holidays, without families having to worry about finding the money.
Details of the full programme, which also includes animal-handling, interactive play workshops and go-karting, can be found on the council's Healthy Holiday's webpage.
