Attempted murder arrest after man seriously injured

Police have arrested a person on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was seriously injured in an incident in Llandrindod Wells.

Dyfed-Powys Police said they were called to an address on Hillcrest Rise in the Powys town at about 20:20 GMT on Saturday.

They said the man was taken to hospital where his condition remains stable.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

"If you live in the Hillcrest or Llethyr Bryn area and saw or heard any suspicious behaviour on Saturday evening, please get in touch," a police spokesperson said.
