Residents to have their say on village's future

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead council wants people to share their views on its plans to improve walking and cycling connectivity, local infrastructure and the high street in Ascot.
In its draft supplementary planning document, the authority also sets out "design principles to guide new development" and how parking issues in the village centre could be addressed.
Councillor Adam Bermange said he wanted Ascot to be a "high quality place to live, visit and do business".
“It is vital that future development reflects residents’ views," he said.
The planning document was produced following community engagement earlier in the year.
Those who live, work or visit Ascot can complete an online questionnaire during the consultation, which will run until 19 January.
They are also invited to attend one of three drop-in sessions being held in December.
