Car driver dies after A96 crash with lorry

A 78-year-old car driver has died following a crash with a lorry in Aberdeenshire.
The collision happened near Huntly on the A96 Aberdeen to Elgin road at about 11:00 on Wednesday. It involved a black Skoda Kamiq and a white lorry.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland appealed for witnesses to contact them.
Sgt Pete Henderson said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man that has died.
"Thanks to the members of the public that stopped to provide assistance and other road users for their patience."
He added: "Our investigation to establish the full circumstances is ongoing and I would urge anyone with information, or who may have dash-cam footage from the area, to get in touch."
