Hull and East Yorkshire mayoral election: Margaret Pinder

Margaret Pinder, 65, has lived in East Yorkshire all her life
Ms Pinder, said: "I'm proud to call it my home. For too long our part of the world has felt forgotten, I am not prepared to sit on the sidelines anymore. I'm not afraid to stand up and say what needs to be said, and fight for the best deal for our region."
She says she wants to end the 08.00 scramble to see a doctor
Ms Pinder has pledged to end the morning rush to get a doctors appointment.
"This will be achieved through trialling community health centres across Hull and East Yorkshire and bringing back a named family doctor."
She wants to ban repeat offenders from high streets
"I will make our high streets hubs of the community again by introducing respect orders across Hull and East Yorkshire."
Ms Pinder will introduce a Mayoral Apprenticeship Scheme
She says she wants local people to have access to well paying jobs.
"Giving local people the opportunity to access high-paid local jobs which are on their doorstep."
She wants to find and fill every pot hole in a year
Ms Pinder wants to invest in regional infrastructure.
"I am serious about investing in our region's infrastructure, this will save motorists hundreds on car repairs."
She is pledging to provide free summer bus travel
Ms Pinder says she wants to provide free coastal bus travel.
"Free travel on bus routes to the coast throughout school summer holidays will boost tourism and growth in our coastal communities. Bring back the great British summer holiday."
