Man charged with murder after woman found dead

A man has been charged with murdering a woman who died at a property in Worcestershire.

Officers went to an address in Other Road, Redditch, at about 09:30 GMT on Monday.

"A 44-year-old woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene," said a spokesperson for West Mercia Police.

Chris Hemming, 46, of Other Road, Redditch, has been charged with her murder and is due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
